For this years Christmas card I made a picture of our neighborhood by climbing to the top of the hill at the end of our street, and photographing our valley for over an hour. Sunlight falls beautifully across the neighborhood and changes rapidly as the sun sets behind the eastern hill. I pieced together images captured over time to create a perceived reality landscape.
Below are some of the original frames I captured. One hour and fourteen minutes passed between the first and last images shown here.
There wasn't a cloud in the sky this evening, so I also added a sky to the final image.
